The island of Nusa Lembongan is only 2 km wide and 4 km long and it is possible to walk quietly around the island during a day. The island is quiet and offers its guests a relaxed holiday with several possible activities. There is a multitude of beautiful white sand beaches – perfect for sunbathing, swimming and relaxation. Surfers have easy access to 4 great „breaks“ and snorkellers and divers will be delighted with the crystal clear waters and spectacular marine life ranging from critters to Manta Rays and Mola Molas. There is around 7.000 people living on the island – most of them living from growing and harvesting seaweed, which can be seen at several places around the island. The main religion is Hindu as on Bali – a big part of the every day life with offerings and many ceremonies.

The island is suitable for some good walks or it is also possible to rent a bike and make tours of the island. Around the Island it is possible to see several temples, seaweed farms, the beautiful beaches or mangrove areas as well the old hindu capital Lembongan, where you find the underground house (an underground labyrinth made as protection for evil spirits).
